Keith Kreger Memorial Handicap Tournament Results

The Tonawandas USBC Association held its 27th annual Keith Kreger Memorial Handicap Tournament at Manor Lanes II on Sunday December 2, 2018. Twenty-nine bowlers participated in this handicap tournament which is open to sanctioned bowlers who average 210 or lower. All participants bowled a three-game qualifier and the top five scores with handicap advanced to the eliminator-style finals.

Leading the qualifying round was Joey Bellanti with 735 (684 scratch). He was followed by Barb Maddigan with 681 (606 scratch), Edward Mousseau 676 (652 scratch), Robert Miano 669 (648 scratch), and Brian Moran 667 (595 scratch). All five advanced to the eliminator finals.

In the first round on the finals, Edward Mousseau lead the way with a 214 total (206 scratch), earning him a spot in the championship round. Barb Maddigan's 196 (171 scratch) and Brian Moran's 196 (172 scratch) lead to a 9th & 10th frame roll off to determine the other spot for the championship round. Barb outlasted Brian 39 to 29 in the roll off to advance.

In the championship round, Edward Mousseau rolled a 202 (195 scratch) to defeat Barb Maddigan, who rolled a 195 (170 scratch).

Edward Mousseau earned $222 for the win while Barb Maddigan received $160 for her second place finish. Brian Moran, Joey Bellani and Robert Miano all earned $66 for making it to the first round of the finals.
