The Tonawandas USBC Association held its 34th annual Senior Masters tournament at Classic Lanes on Sunday October 13, 2019. The scratch event featured some the area's best bowlers ages 50 and over. All 23 participants bowled a four-game qualifier, after which the field was cut to the top seven for eliminator-style finals matches. Two super seniors (ages 65 or over) qualified as part of the seven taken for match play.

The qualifying round resulted in George Szczublewski leading the way with a four-game set of 988. The remaining spots for the finals were taken by Paul Nowak (300-945), Fred Back (933), Samuel Carson (929), Bob Rudnick (922), Mike Firzak (915), and Dennis Illig (881).

In the first match of the first round, George Szczublewski (299), and Mike Firzak (244) advanced over Bob Rudnick (202). In the second first round match, Dennis Illig (212), and Paul Nowak (206) advanced over Samuel Carson (184) & Fred Back (177).

In the second round, George Szczublewski (256) and Paul Nowak (225) advanced over Dennis Illig (210) and Mike Firzak (175).

In the championship match, George Szczublewski (181) outlasted Paul Nowak (168) to claim the championship.
